Level 1 Application

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Apply no later than March 1 for the best chance of securing a seat.

Class fees are due AFTER selection of enrollees. A payment plan may be requested but must be completed by March 15. You will be invoiced through PayPal for class dues ($350).

Please note: this application is for Level 1 students only.

Classes typically begin in late March and are held at the Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center on Coors.

PLEASE READ: I understand that submission of this application does not constitute automatic enrollment in the Certified Beekeeper program. Once accepted into the program, I understand that I must pay the nonrefundable $350.00 fee (for Year 1) before participating in the program. I understand that I must become a member of NMBKA to participate. I understand that, to be a Certified Beekeeper, I must complete 40 hours of volunteer work before the end of Program Year 2. This application is for Year 1 of the 2-year program. Students who satisfy all requirements of Year 1 classes will be granted enrollment for Year 2, which will include a separate $350.00 fee.
