ZQB is going into its 9th season! It continues to be a very humbling journey as each season is unique. The bees continue to inspire us and Mother Nature continues to teach us, that life is indeed a very unique journey.
Learning to keep bees healthy and productive is becoming more of a challenge as we experience fluctuating weather conditions and other uncontrollables. Finding bees that are resilient and adaptable in our dynamic landscape is a life-long endeavor. We have learned how to work with what we have and in our area to better support our region's pollinators and stewards.
All of our bees are produced and reared in state from selected stock that has performed well through multiple seasons in a variety of topographies (desert, riparian and alpine). We have 4 comb starter nuclei for both Langstroth and Top Bar hive systems. These include bees, brood, a well mated and laying queen and some food stores.
We are open for taking reservations from NM beekeepers. We will begin opening the reservations list to others outside of NM beginning Jan. 22nd.
