Bee Diseases Common to NM Hives (input and experiences greatly appreciated)

Hello,

My name is Rehab Kassem, and I am taking an honors course at the University of NM called “Zen and the Art of Beekeeping.” My classmates, Kayla and Mathew, and I are going to create a podcast and the topic of our podcast is bee diseases in NM. We are going to explore the various diseases that affect hives and bees and also the ways in which these diseases and ailments are contained. We want to compare organic versus inorganic ways to treat bee diseases. We would really appreciate if you could share some experiences you have had with diseases, including bacteria, fungi, mites, or whatever it may be, that have struck your hives here in NM and what ways you have dealt with them. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
