"I have never uncapped honey so I don't know enough to say much except it looks like it works extremely well. I just eat the honey in the comb like gum.

"As you have probably found out by now, pecan and pistachio trees are wind pollinated. That's a shame as my place is surrounded by both.
The heat gun idea looks cool. If I ever get any working hives to have honey again I'll have to try it."

If you have been following exploits over here you know I have been busy with swarms and cutouts. A few more "rescues" and I will be "bee poor" and the proud owner of 6 hives. Then I will be out of boxes. Already out of bases and tops and will have to build more next week.
