FYI- I moved my hives to a beeyard south of town.  MUCH more buildup, and they are working those little yellow flowers you see alongside the road (mustard weed?) heavily.  I think there just isn't the necessary forage here in the middle of town.

Sigh.  They killed the queen.  But there are at least a half dozen queen cells formed, so I guess the girls are having a moment of revolutionary fervor and overthrowing the puppet dictator for a leader raised from the working class.

I have 75 full beehives for sale. They are complete with 1 feeder box and 8 frames each. Will sell in lots of 25. Bees are healthy are producing honey.

On a different note... just tallied up my feral removals for the season - looks like 17 so far - 18 counting the tree I will be attempting tommorrow, mostly to save them from imminent doom.

Also funny how 1/3rd of my removals absconded. Sort of shows you the odds we are dealing with.

Here is a chance to speak out on Honey Bee Health with the EPA. This is a petiion to ban neonicotinoids as other countries have done.
