Here is another petition from Credo, I don’t see a conflict in signing two petitions, we sure could use the pressure.
My bees thank you!

Comment by James H DAWDY on October 5, 2012 at 1:22pm I noticed bees are working the Russian Sage around NMSU for the first time in quite a while- apparently it produces something of a fall flow?
Comment by Paul McCarty on October 2, 2012 at 6:07am Get used to losing them - happens all the time, sad to say.
I love your posts James! Thank you for wondeerful humor, sure is fun to read. Sure am sorry to hear that you lost your girl!
Comment by James H DAWDY on October 1, 2012 at 7:03pm FYI- I moved my hives to a beeyard south of town. MUCH more buildup, and they are working those little yellow flowers you see alongside the road (mustard weed?) heavily. I think there just isn't the necessary forage here in the middle of town.
Comment by James H DAWDY on October 1, 2012 at 7:02pm Sigh. They killed the queen. But there are at least a half dozen queen cells formed, so I guess the girls are having a moment of revolutionary fervor and overthrowing the puppet dictator for a leader raised from the working class.
Comment by James H DAWDY on October 1, 2012 at 9:48am Just saw this on craigslist:
I have 75 full beehives for sale. They are complete with 1 feeder box and 8 frames each. Will sell in lots of 25. Bees are healthy are producing honey.
I am selling them for $225 per hive.

Comment by Paul McCarty on September 29, 2012 at 8:32pm On a different note... just tallied up my feral removals for the season - looks like 17 so far - 18 counting the tree I will be attempting tommorrow, mostly to save them from imminent doom.
Also funny how 1/3rd of my removals absconded. Sort of shows you the odds we are dealing with.
GREAT story James!
Comment by Diana Calkins on September 28, 2012 at 2:23pm Wonderful description, James! I could see the whole circus in my head. LOL!
