Those guys are a bunch of fools. They have tried to pass multiple restrictive ordinances in the name of fire safety, and all sorts of trumped up stuff every since they took office in the last election cycle - mostly to bash the Federal Government. Every time they try, the public has an absolute fit. Hopefully this ordinance goes nowhere too. The farmers in my area are livid about it.

Not sure either. Anyone that wants it I can email to them as I saved a copy. Some of the ordinance is good as far protecting animals from cruel treatment.

Just a reminder to everyone who is able you might want to attend the Meeting on July 24th at 6 pm. The commission chambers is in the old forest service office building at 1101 New York in Alamogordo.

I just received a response from our district commissioner that he was unaware that the section on livestock was in the ordinance and that it should be removed.  However even if he does vote against the ordinance the other two commissioners could pass it with a two to one vote.  If you have an opinion or concerns about the ordinance, please attend.
