Getting a jump on fall and the advancing winter
~Learn our methods for successful over wintering with Langstroth style hives.
~Pros and cons of entrance reduction, it could seriously affect your colonies health and ultimate survival during winter.
~Do you have enough honey to carry your bees through winter, or will you need to feed?
~If you decide to feed what are your options ?
~How much ventilation do hives need in cold conditions?
~Are you going to wrap your hives or let them go 'au naturel'?

We’ll do demonstrations on live beehives, so bring your hat, veil and camera!
*Remember: No shoes, No shirt, No bee class. (Instructor exempted!)
