Our field day will be on Tuesday, 14th August at 1036 Miller Road, Los Lunas.
Registration (usually with coffee and doughnuts) starts at 8 am, with the farm tours starting shortly afterwards. Dave Dreesen of the NRCS thinks he will give his talk on the pollinator plants about 10, then take everyone out to the pollinator plantings afterwards, concluding in time for the free lunch at noon.
Directions: (coming south from Albuquerque on I-25, take the Los Lunas exit (203), turn left onto Main St (NM 6) and go 1.7 m to the junction with Hwy 314 (at a set of traffic lights); turn right onto 314 S and go 2.8 miles; you will pass the courthouse on your right (at at set of traffic lights), then shortly after that you will see the prison entrance (white entrance walls and a row of trees lining the drive), then Miller Rd is the next turning on the right. We are 0.9 miles down Miller on the right-hand side: as soon as the hedge on the right ends, turn right to enter at the white gates.
